We're always happy to discuss your specific needs and provide a quote. Pricing is primarily dependent on the size of your piano, but distance traveled, stairs and difficult  maneuvers such as tight corners also affect the cost to move your piano..

RIck's great. My move was fairly simple, but clearly Rick knows what he's doing and is reasonably priced.

Rick was highly recommended to me by my piano tuner. In fact, he was the only one he told me to call and that I should use a mover that only moved pianos. Great recommendation. RIck was a pleasure to work with and I could tell he knew what he was doing. Everything went smoothly and uneventfully. As it should.

Over the years, I've used Rick for 4 piano moves. The most challenging was to move my 9'1" Concert Grand. He did that twice to single-story locations, but the most challenging by far was to the second story of my current Townhouse. Honestly, I didn't think it could be moved there and though I'd have to sell it. The top floor is multi-level so the move included 5 stairs. Watching my baby hanging from the crane was nail-biting enough. Watching it get maneuvered up those stairs was almost worse. It weighs over 1200 lbs. I thought it might crash thru the stairs. You can have 8 men on the crew and you still won't lift it or stop a disaster if it tips the wrong way. It's about brains, not brawn and Rick knows that, even though he's a big man. He spent a LOT of time thinking this one thru before ever agreeing to it. Just look at the photos. It was all about leverage because only physics will work to move this monster. I would never use a general mover for a piano,, and I wouldn't want to take my chances on the crew I might get from a big piano moving company on any given day.. Plus Rick's a gentle giant you'll love working with.

I used Howard's again to move my piano out of my house. It was a beast to get into the house and I was POSITIVE that there'd be no way to get it out. As...
